We have an immediate opening for an OEM Account Manager needed to grow the sales of existing OEMs in assigned territory and develop new OEM accounts to support the growth of the 3 vertical market teams (Hospitality,Healthcare, and Education). |
| Responsibilities |
- OEM Account Manager is responsible for managing existing OEM accounts in your assigned territory and working with them to grow their OEM business a minimum of 20% per year.
- Develop joint marketing opportunities with key accounts to grow their Lutron "non-specification" OEM business (new business outside of our specification effort).
- Ensure all of our metrics with existing OEM accounts are meeting or exceeding standards (delivery metrics, information flow, order processing, quality, response time to issues etc).
- Assist in developing back-end support systems and programs for the evolving OEM business.
- Work with our engineering teams to ensure they are up to date with current trends in the industry as it pertains to fixtures, lamp types and competitive ballasts.
- Act as a liaison for product development between our engineering team and fixture manufacturer product managers and engineering designers.
- Identify new OEM opportunities in your markets and assist in developing a plan and strategy to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Work with OEM trainer and technical team to ensure all OEMs are properly trained on specifications and installation guidelines for our ballasts.

| Qualifications |
- 4 year Bachelors Degree and a record of excellent academic performance
- An interest and willingness to drive new business development
- Proven success in Business to business sales, marketing and strategic account development
- Excellent communication skills and exceptional drive
- Independent and self motivated
- Technical Aptitude
- Familiarity with the lighting industry is a plus
